Over the past weekend, Oct 15th 2011, the city of LA was privileged to host the 6th annual "Taste of Soul" family festival. Taste of Soul is a collective of minority owned small business, shops, and organizations in line with select corporate sponsors, teaming up to bring a day field with multicultural festivities. The event showcases some of the cities most flavorful food vendors, artist, craftsmen and innovative business men and women. Its a free event that covers Crenshaw blvd. from Martin Luther King Blvd. to Rodeo. This year was no different the past 5 events with men women and children flooding the streets in droves. One event goer was quoted as saying "That atmosphere was electric!" another participant said "The energy was like nothing I have seen before. To see the city of LA move in one accord was inspirational". The Taste of soul festival is definitely one of the country's hidden treasures and we at Hotep365.com most definitely suggest that the family add this to the calendar for next year.
